Happening at the iconic Silverstone circuit, the Silverstone Half Marathon 2026 will see Elliott put his training to the test while supporting a cause close to his heart.

Elliott is aiming to raise £200 for Ben, a Support for Life automotive charity that provides vital mental health, physical well-being and financial support to people working across the automotive industry and their families. TechMan has proudly supported Ben for many years, helping raise awareness of its work and contributing to fundraising efforts.

For Elliott, running as part of TechMan’s fundraising for Ben is a positive way to support both physical and mental well-being, making it a fitting challenge.

Elliott Takes on the Silverstone RunFest Half Marathon

TechMan trainer Elliott is preparing to take on the Silverstone RunFest Half Marathon 2026 on 22 November at the iconic Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire.

The half marathon covers 21km around the Grand Prix circuit, giving runners the chance to experience famous sections of the track, including Copse Corner, Vale and Hangar Straight.

For Elliott, this automotive industry charity event is about more than just completing the distance. He’s using the challenge to support his own physical and mental well-being while raising £200 for Ben.

The fundraising target aligns with Ben’s official £200 minimum for its 2026 half-marathon challenge, helping support people across the automotive industry and their families.

What is Ben – Support for Life?

The Ben Support for Life automotive charity is dedicated to helping people who work, or have worked, in the UK automotive industry, as well as their family dependants. Its support covers a wide range of challenges, including mental health, physical well-being and financial difficulties.

Ben provides free and confidential support, including a helpline, well-being resources, counselling, life coaching and help with money worries. In 2025-26, the charity responded to more than 14,000 enquiries and directly supported 3,421 people through tailored services.

TechMan has supported Ben for many years, helping raise awareness and contribute to its fundraising efforts. TechMan’s fundraising for Ben through Elliott in the Silverstone RunFest Half Marathon 2026 is another way the team can support a cause that plays an important role across the automotive community.

Supporting Well-Being Across the Automotive Industry

Elliott’s challenge brings forth something that extends far beyond race day. Ben reports that 99.8% of automotive workers experienced a health or well-being issue in the past 12 months, highlighting the importance of accessible support across the sector.

The Silverstone RunFest Half Marathon 2026 gives participants an opportunity to combine a personal fitness challenge with fundraising for people across the automotive community. For TechMan, it’s a practical way to support the charity’s work while encouraging conversations around physical and mental well-being.

Every donation and share can help Ben continue providing support to automotive workers and their families.
